Beta Gamma Sigma Founder's Week is upon us! From February 16 to 23, we are commemorating over a century of celebrating and connecting remarkable people in business.
Since its founding on February 19, 1913, BGS has built a global network of the top performing business students, alumni, and executives from over 600 chapters. We in New Zealand take pride in being a part of this international legacy.
At the University of Auckland and AUT, BGS still honours the business graduates who perform the BEST - the top 10% of undergraduate programmes, top 20% of graduate programmes, and all PhD graduates from AACSB accredited business schools. It’s not just an award, for those who earn this honour, it’s a lifelong bond with a network of professional global citizens.
Our BGS New Zealand Alumni Chapter plays a major role in bringing members together to engage in networking, business, professional development, and more at all levels, both locally and internationally. With more than 2000 graduates in our chapter, we remain committed to foster leadership, integrity, and excellence.
Founders Week is a period set aside to think about what unites us as BGS members and the difference we can make together. It also serves as a reminder of the strength of our network, which goes well beyond the borders of New Zealand.
