On Thursday, 31st August the BGS NZ Alumni Committee facilitated 'AUT's Beta Gamma Sigma Information and Q&A Session' followed by networking and refreshments. The session had a great turnout of students from across AUT's Business School. Representatives from Fisher & Paykel Healthcare and Deloitte (both session sponsors) graced us with their presence as well.
The afternoon was a resounding success and was made possible with the combined efforts of the sponsors, the BGS NZ Alumni Committee, and the partnerships team at AUT who were gracious enough to support us with the venue and organising the session. AUT's partnerships team and BGS NZ's committee members engaged with students (both current and graduating) providing them with valuable information about BGS; our purpose, values, goals and activities while the sponsors had great conversations about their offerings for students.
Students appreciated the early engagement with BGS NZ and the opportunity to have in-person conversations with representatives from the sponsoring organisations. Both sponsors have informed AUT's partnerships team that they are interested in collaborating on more events in the future.
